From Carol Harrold Photography … Shannon and Joe had such a beautiful vision for their wedding day. The most touching aspect was their newly adopted son, being an essential part of the ceremony. Her gown was by WToo, and the reception dress was from Malene Birger Paris. The ceremony was at Lakewold Gardens, in Lakewood, Washington. Her party stayed at Thornwood castle, where they were transported in a white Bently to the gardens. Fabulous food and dancing and ‘photo-boothing’!

For some time now flower crowns have been my everything. When I think of a female free spirit, flowers in the hair comes to mind. It makes me squeak every time I see images of brides wearing flower crowns and I couldn't help but round up a few of my favorites.

Wedding: Jennifer R. Married May 19, 2012

Jennifer's wedding took place at the very amazing and modern Novelty Hill Winery in Woodinville Washington. That morning I traveled on location to Willows Lodge to provide Jennifer with bridal hair and airbrush makeup.

Jennifer defiantly was not afraid of makeup and she didn't want the natural look, but she did want me to make sure and walk the fine line between beautiful day makeup, and dramatic heavy evening makeup.On her face, we used a minimalist layer of airbrush foundation, a soft peachy-pink on her cheeks, and a medium taupe for the brow. On Jennifer's eyes I stayed pretty light with the lid colors because she wanted her emphasis to be the liner and false individual eyelashes. The last element that tied the look together and made the brides face pop was the warm berry lip color she chose. It warmed her entire face and enriched the colors surrounding her.

For the brides hair we decided on somewhat tidy asymmetrical side bun that rested low on her neck. In order to keep things from looking to stiff around the back of Jennifer's head, I twisted and wove pieces together to create texture and volume.  The final touch was her simple yet soft and blingy headband.

This was the first wedding I have ever done with Laura MarchBanks Photography and it was such a pleasure to work with her. I know that I thoroughly enjoyed her work, and I am sure you will too... please check it out!

Photo Shoot: OffWhite teams up with Van Whye photography.

It has been an extremely busy summer over here at OffWhite, lot's of weddings, lot's of hair and makeup, and lot's of great brides.

During our 2 seconds of down time this summer, we had the opportunity to team up Van Whye photography for an evening of beauty and bliss. With only a week or so of preparation and less than 3 hours of shoot time. Looking back I am so proud that we all came together to create something so beautiful.

The photo shoot took place at an open field in Roy Washington. The ever talented Joshua Mahar was on hand to assist with lighting and capture film shots. MadProps provided all of the styling, wardrobe, and props, and of course OffWhite dialed in the hair and makeup.

The evening was perfect, the models were perfect, and I couldn't be more proud of this collaboration. A big thank you to everyone involved!

Wedding: Brianna S. Married September 24, 2011

Brianna's wedding took place at the super amazing Skansonia, located in Eastlake. For the big day, myself and Blanca traveled on location to her hotel, and spent the morning doing hair and airbrush makeup for the bride and all the sweet ladies in her bridal party. 

Brianna wanted to keep things low key, nothing too far from her normal everyday look. For her bridal hair style we went with something all down, a soft sweeping side bang, and loose flowing curls. 

For her makeup, I use a light airbrush foundation, warm soft neutral's on the eye, and a dewy melon color on the cheek. I finished off her look with a smudgy charcoal eyeliner, false individual eyelashes, and a berry lip color know as "lovable".

The brides personality was very radiant, sweet and lovable, and looking back at her wedding photos I think Chantal did a fabulous job capturing the essence of both her and the groom on their super special day.
